I had featured Seasons 52 just 2 months ago here. When I was trying to decide where to take my family for our weekly family dinner, Seasons 52 popped in my mind. I love the friendly atmosphere and seasonally inspired menu, not to mention the ‘nothing over 475 calories’ healthy concept.
The fall menu is what currently being served. Of course we couldn’t pass on the famous flatbread. Spicy Chipotle Shrimp Flatbread with grilled pineapple, feta cheese and roasted poblano peppers was very good. The Lamb Gyro paled in comparison. I tasted mostly feta cheese.
I loved Lemongrass Salmon Salad with organic field lettuce, sundried cranberries, jicama and white balsamic vinaigrette so much that I just had to get it again. In fact, I can eat this everyday! I wish I had the recipe for the vinaigrette. Allen decided to try the Wood-Roasted Pork Tenderloin with herb polenta, broccoli, cremini mushrooms and shallot-Dijon glaze. Didn’t think you could eat pork medium? Well, apparently you could. These pieces were very tender. However, once the accompanying sauce were gone (absorbed by mash potato), the meat was pretty bland.
I am not a fan of scallop but my daughter is. The Caramelized Sea Scallops grilled and served with roasted asparagus and tomato-mushroom pearl pasta looked really good. She convinced me to try a piece and it was delicious! They were big and tender and very flavorful! I think I will take my mom here next time because I know she will enjoy it, too.
My son ordered Tiger Shrimp Penne Pasta with broccoli and tomatoes in a lemon-basil sauce with Parmesan cheese. Normally my son doesn’t care much about food, but he gave 2 thumbs up for his entree. Wow!
We were really full, but how could we not indulge in a little mini indulgence?
It was a great family dinner. Thanks Seasons 52! See you again real soon.
