Burrissimo Fast Fresh Italian @ Costa Mesa – Media Tasting

I thought the name ‘Burrissimo’ was really cute but the concept behind it was even cuter – Italian food in a wrap, as in a Burrito Wrap.

But Burrissimo serves more than just burritos, there are also salad bowls and pasta bowls as well.

This is how you order it:

• Choose a grill item –  Chicken, Steak,  Salmon
• Choose an entree style – Italian Burrito, Pasta Bowl,  Salad Bowl
• Choose a sauce (for burrito or pasta bowl) or dressing (for salad bowl)
• Choose toppings, as many as you like (cheese, specialties, vegetables)

This Snappy Chicken Burrito was HUGE!  Made with chicken, angel hair pasta, spicy diavolo sauce, sauteed peppers & onions, spicy beans, roasted garlic, sundried tomatoes, and feta cheese.  You can easily share this or make it two meals!

My Salmon Salad Bowl was equally hearty.  Allen and I usually like to share food, so we usually get a meat entree and a salad to make it a more balanced meal.

The manager told us if we had room for desserts to try these Zeppoles.  Oh my god!  Best $2.99 spent ever!  They were so warm and soft and delicious!  You MUST try these!
