Encore @ Las Vegas

Encore, Las Vegas is fast becoming my favorite resort to stay at for my home away from home.  The room is very spacious averaging around 745 square feet with floor-to-ceiling windows.  Our view on the 25th floor over looking the pools was gorgeous!

Upon entrance, the long hallway is lined with large panels of mirrors.  In fact, lots of mirrors were used throughout the room to create an illusion of even roomier space.

We stayed at the King Suite.  The bed is one of the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on.  And the European linens are so luxurious that I almost wanted to sleep bare naked!!  The living room area with a desk is well appointed that I didn’t even mind working during the day.

I love whoever thought of designing the cove dividing the bedroom and living room.  You can just turn the Flat Screen TV and watch it from either side.  Pure genius!  The little bar is also very cute!  All the curtains and lights are controlled by touch controls on the night stand.  Very high tech.

I love the panel door closet with a built-in safe and drawers.  All the details of the room make this resort 5-star worthy.

The marble bathroom is well equipped with a 19 inch flat screen TV, dual sink, resort ropes and slippers, and even a scale.  Why would anyone want to weight themselves on vacation is beyond me.

We decided to try the Buffet at Wynn since they were free.  I was in awe at the decor.  It is beyond beautiful!

The buffet was definitely one of the finer buffets in Vegas.  I like how they kept the tray relatively small so they get replenished often, thus keeping the food fresh.  I can’t begin to tell you the spread, there were a lot.  Unfortunately we had a big lunch and just weren’t very  hungry.

The dessert stations were equally impressive.  So many good desserts!!!

The Buffet was not only a feast for the tummy but also for the eyes.

I can not wait to come back to enjoy my birthday in March.
