Supermarket Superstar @ Smog Shoppe – Media Tasting

I admire chefs.  I watch several cooking shows on TV religiously.  When I got invited to a Press Tasting for a new show Supermarket Superstar premiering today, July 22, on Lifetime TV, I was more than ecstatic!

I couldn’t pass the opportunity to meet the show’s host, Stacy Kiebler, and mentors, Debbie Fields, founder of Mrs. Fields Cookies, and Chris Cornyn and some of the amazing chefs who competed.  Each one-hour episode of Supermarket Superstar follows three home chefs as they pitch their product concepts to titans of the food world for the opportunity to have their creation launched nationally in a major grocery chain.  The last cook staning will be rewarded $10,000 in prize money and $100,000 worth of product development from DINE Marketing and Mattson to create professional samples of their products.

First episode Premiers on Monday, July 22, @ 10:00pm featuring Cakes.

Do you like dessert with wine?  Then you have to try Sean Allen’s Cake Buzz Liqueur Cakes.

The finale will air on September 23.  All the food were amazing and I know the judges had a hard time picking out the winner.  I am excited to find out who it will be.

I was super excited to finally meet fellow blogger Lynn Chen of The Actor’s Diet (pictured above top).  She is also an amazing actress.  I also met one of the show’s publicist, Tracy.  I met so many awesome people that day; I had a blast!

And I couldn’t leave without taking pictures with Stacy, Chris, and Debbie.  I was smiling from ear to ear!  Don’t miss this great show tonight and make sure to set your Tivo like I did just in case.  Let me know who your favorite chef is and who are you rooting for.
