Did you know, every year Americans consume about 50 billion burgers? That’s enough to wrap around the Earth 32 times!!! But you don’t have to eat the same old boring burgers all the time. Thanks to all the great restaurants at Orange County’s premiere outlet shopping destination, at The Outlets Of Orange, you will find a vast variety of burger options as many of the restaurants celebrate National Burger Month from now until May 31.
I love bowling so I decided to stop by Lucky Strike Lanes and check out the specials. We happened to come during Happy Hour which is Monday – Friday 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM and Sunday – Thursday 10:00 PM – Close. There are 1/2 off food speicals, $1 off all drafts, $3 well drinks, $4 house wine (by the glass) and $5 Lucky Shot.
The National Burger Month special offers $1 off Sam Adams beer with the purchase of Lucky Strike Lanes’ gastropub-inspired A2K burger.
You can’t miss the big huge bowling pin sign. The interior is even more spacious than it looks from the outside and the decor is more sophisticated than a traditional ‘bowling alley’ with rich wood furnishings.
The restaurant, A2K Kitchen, boats a large bar serving hand-crafted drinks. In addition to booths, there are many community tables great for groups to enjoy great music and mouthwatering food.
The Blackberry Basil Mule (Grey Goose, Fresh Lime Juice, Simple Syrup, Blackberries, Basil, topped with Ginger Beer) sounded and tasted delicious! There are many other cocktails, draft beer, wines and spirits that you can pair with your meal.
For starter, we chose Sausage & Peppers Flatbread (Marinara, Caramelized Onions, Mozzarella). The bread was a little crispier than I expected but it had nice flavor.
I was happy to see Kale & Beets Salad (Braised Beets, Candied Walnuts, Goat Cheese, Citrus Vinaigrette). Loved the creamy goat cheese and the light citrus dressing. It complimented the burger very well.
And of course we had to try the Bacon Supreme (A2K Sauce, Crispy Bacon, Cheddar, Fried Egg). The name says it all. It was supremely good. There are 5 billiards tables. I am not very good at playing pool but next time I will definitely play a game or two when I have more time. There are 24 bowling lanes, a shuffleboard table, 8 42″ plasmas, 16 projection TVs. There are also private party suites that you can host your special events like corporate events, birthday parties or kids parties. Party packages offer food, beverage and entertainment options to accommodate any of your needs. You and your guests will have a blast bowling, eating and sharing many laughters.
Many thanks to The Outlets At Orange for hosting me and the most awesome pair of Van’s Burger Shoes! I LOVE IT!
