Surprise! I am back at Stacked. I just can’t get enough of this place. Everything is so good and it’s “Food Well Built” because you can build it yourself. (Check out my previous posts for more food.). In this visit Wendy and I tried some new items being introduced and available for Spring.
Wendy loves a good salad so we started with the brand new Wild Arugula Mediterranean Salad (Spring Lettuce, Feta Cheese, Avocado, Dried Cranberries, and more) that we added Candied Pecans and Strawberries with a champaigne vinaigrette. Even for this guy that loves meat I loved the fresh and flavorful taste of this salad. I would have been very happy and satisfied with this salad as my only entree.
Next it’s not a burger (though they have plenty of great options for them), it’s a wonderful Pesto Chicken Sandwich (Brioche Bun, Grilled Chicken Breast, Gouda Cheese, Roma Tomatoes, Parmesan Breadcrumb Crisp, Wild Arugula, Basil Pesto Mayo) that we added some Jalapeño Bacon to. Another full flavored item, the pesto and juicy chicken blend together perfectly. Check out that Parmesan Breadcrumb Crisp on top! I have never seen or tried this before, it was fantastic and really took this sandwich over the top.
We couldn’t visit Stacked without having one of their Mac & Cheese offerings. Luckily they have a brand new one called Chicken Pesto Mac. Like all of them you can tweak and make it your own by adding and substituting items as you please. As always we where not disappointed and could not get enough of this hot cheesy goodness.
Wendy was a bit under the weather so we ordered a Chicken Tortilla Soup. We decided to have this one without the Tortilla Strips on top, but you can have it with if you want. Either way the soup hit the spot with a thick full-flavored taste.
If you still have room, you owe it to yourself to try one of the many customizable desserts.
You can choose one of their great pre-made Ice Cream Sandwich creations or you can build your own. When you build your own, like we did this time (Fudge Swirl w/Peanut Butter Cups Ice Cream, Caramel Sauce, Peanut Butter Sauce, Chocolate Chip Cookie, White Chocolate Chip Macadamia Nut Cookie), you also get to mix it and combine it like you want as well. Pick whatever you like from many options in cookies, ice cream, and sauces. You can’t miss because it has cookies!
Lastly we tried the new, just in time for St. Patrick’s Day, Thin Mint Shake. It comes thick and rich with Chocolate Syrup, Graham Crumbs, Mint Syrup and a girl scout cookie approved Thin Mint Cookie-Whipped Cream optional. It was a great ending to a great meal. Guess who ate the cookie first.
I can’t say it enough times, but the Stacked team always takes great care of the customers and are very helpful in explaining the food items and options. Thanks again to everyone at Stacked and for filling our bellies with great food made the way we like them.

WOW those plates look amazing! I’ve only been to Stacked when they first opened at Cerritos Mall. I think they only had burgers on the menu at the time. The mac n cheese look so delish. Need to go try out some of these dishes!
Yummy Yummy!
