Christmas is over but the festivity continues as we get ready to say good-bye to 2016 to welcome 2017. I am so excited that Habana is hosting its New Year’s Even celebration\u00a0 featuring live music, rum tastings, cigar rolling, plus a champagne toast and balloon drop at midnight. The evening will include performances from The Lily Hernandez Band and Madcat with no cover.<\/p>\n

Habana\u2019s prix fixe New Year\u2019s Eve menu is $100\/person and will offer two seatings for\u00a0dinner service at 6pm and 8pm. Special menu items by Chef Miguel Quintero include\u00a0Carne a la Guayaba (Dry aged Rib Eye, cebolla seca, boniato, guava cabernet reduction);\u00a0Regalo del Mar (Alaskan Halibut, Flor de calabasa, papaya, Zucchini); Hacha De Lechon\u00a0(Tomahawk, Heirloom Tomatoes, Watermelon Radish, Avocado); and Tres Chocolates\u00a0(Espresso Sponge, Spiced Dark Chocolate, chocolate blanco, dulce de leche).<\/p>\n

Allen and I got to preview the delicious cocktails and food a couple of weeks ago. Seriously, they are delicious!<\/p>\n
