October is one of my favorite months; the month my daughter was born, the fall colors, cooler weathers, and Halloween. But more importantly, it’s Breast Cancer Awareness month<\/strong>! According to breastcancer.org,\u00a01 in 8 women in the United States, or 12%, will develop breast cancer over the course of a lifetime. The risk goes up higher as you get older. Many other factors also affect the risk, including genetics, diet, exercise, smoking and alcohol consumption. You can help lowering the risk by making healthiest lifestyle choices. Make sure to also perform monthly self breast exam and regular mammogram.<\/p>\n

After a very successful partner ship with Susan G. Komen last year, The Outlets at Orange once again joins the organization for the 2016 “More Than Pink” campaign.<\/p>\n

Guests looking to participate and dine at Dave & Buster\u2019s from 6 PM \u2013 8 PM on October 20 will be seated in a special area of the restaurant where 10% of\u00a0the evening\u2019s proceeds will be donated to Susan G. Komen. Lucky Strike\u00a0Lanes will also donate 10% of diners\u2019 proceeds on October 27, all day.<\/p>\n

Visitors to The Outlets at Orange will notice the pink theme carried out at the Guest Services\u00a0booths and staff will be honoring National Breast Cancer Awareness Month by donning pink\u00a0accessories.<\/p>\n
