Yes I know I was just at Stacked for MACovember<\/a>, but they keep creating special items that are available for only a short time and we love it so much we couldn’t miss it! This time they’ve added a limited time for December-only-holiday-dessert. Of course\u00a0its all so good!<\/p>\n

I’ve said it before, but you have to experience Stacked\u00a0with their philosophy of\u00a0\u00a0you getting exactly what you want. They\u00a0offer America\u2019s favorite foods like\u00a0Burgers, Pizza, Salads and Mac \u2018n\u2019 Cheese. You can choose between dozens of ingredients to create the perfect meal for your taste. Or you can select one of the already put together\u00a0signature items and even build off of them.<\/p>\n

Now, before we got to the special desert,\u00a0we had to have a proper meal and try some items on the menu we hadn’t had a chance to experience in the past. Why not, you can’t miss, they are all excellent! Starting with their great Stack<\/em>tails. We had the wonderful Top Stack Mojito<\/strong> which is a traditional mojito with Cruzan Light Rum and a combination of sweet, tart lime and fresh mint. The Raspberry Peach Lemonade<\/strong> was also very nice with Peach Schnapps, Absolut Raspberri and lemonade. Both refreshing and delicious!<\/p>\n

To go with our drinks, we add some appetizers. A small Chili Cheese Fries<\/strong> with sour cream, chives and jalape\u00f1os and the classic and never to be missed Candied Bacon<\/strong> (thick cut cherrywood smoked bacon basted with map syrup and brown sugar that is all slowly baked until caramelized). I later added an on tap Stella Artois<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

For the main courses we put together a Cranberry Walnut Salad<\/strong> (Spring Lettuce Mix, Point Reyes Bleu Cheese, Dried Cranberries, Applewood Smoked Bacon, Hard Boiled Eggs, Walnuts, Carrots, Avocado, Mushrooms, Cucumber, Grape Tomatoes, Red Onion and a Cranberry Walnut Dressing). You know Wendy will never eat a meal without a salad. She absolutely loves all the different salads offered here. \u00a0We also started with the Wake Up Call<\/strong> burger and modified it (A Third Pound Angus Beef, Swiss & Pepper Jack Cheese, Roasted Red Pepper Aioli, Fried Egg, Brioche Bun, Green Leaf Lettuce, Applewood Smoked Bacon, Onion Rings, and Roasted Red Pepper Aioli on the side. ) to make it our own special delicious stacked burger.<\/p>\n

After our crush on our modified\u00a0Lobster Mac \u201cn Cheese<\/em>\u00a0in our last visit, we had to try another. This time we went with the Chicken Pesto Mac<\/strong> which is a Traditional Mac \u2018n\u2019 Cheese with the fresh, rich flavor of basil pesto with added grilled chicken breast, fresh saut\u00e9ed mushrooms, onion strings, jalape\u00f1o bacon, sun dried\u00a0tomatoes, and fresh roasted garlic – another winner. They really have one of the best Mac&Cheese dish you can ever create. Made with 4 different cheeses, it is so creamy, smooth and flavorful!<\/p>\n

Believe it or not, we paced ourselves and didn’t eat everything and saved room for dessert. Stacked has reinvented the classic bread pudding dish with 18 topping option (including bacon) to create your own dessert perfection. The Stacked Bread Pudding is\u00a0available for a limited time this December and made the STACKED way.<\/p>\n

\"Stacked<\/p>\n

STACKED\u2019s new Bread Pudding<\/strong> starts with freshly baked Challah bread, cream, eggs, brown sugar, cinnamon, raisins, toasted walnuts and a hint of vanilla. Guests can\u00a0STACK their bread pudding with sauces like caramel, chocolate, peanut butter, strawberry and hot fudge. Other flavorful toppings include bananas, strawberries, Reese\u2019s\u00ae peanut butter cups, chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, marshmallows, peanuts, toasted almonds, whipped cream and candied bacon. Guests can also add to their creation with six flavors of ice cream including vanilla, fudge swirl with peanut butter, double fudge brownie, strawberry, mint chocolate chip and coffee.<\/p>\n

We made ours with Oreo cookies, strawberries, fudge swirl with peanut butter cups ice cream and whipped cream. Remember, since bread pudding will only be served through December, don’t wait! Ours was delicious which we of course devoured quickly.<\/p>\n
