November is MACovember at Stacked restaurants. Where Mac & Cheese is king and customization rules the day.<\/p>\n

\"Stacked2015-23\"I’ve introduced\u00a0in a previous Stacked post<\/a>, there are cool iPad\u00a0display at\u00a0every table. You simply touch and swipe on the screen, choosing and ordering when and exactly what you want. It is\u00a0super easy and\u00a0allows you to pay and split the check among the guests right on the iPad.\u00a0This easy customization is at the heart of the STACKED concept. They\u00a0offer America\u2019s favorite foods (Burgers, Pizza, Salads and Mac \u2018n\u2019 Cheese among others). You choose among dozens of ingredients to create the perfect meal for your taste\u00a0or\u00a0just select one of their\u00a0recommended signature items.<\/p>\n

Since it is MACovember<\/strong> and because I love Mac & Cheese, I had to to order my customized mac & cheese dish right away. You can either build your own from scratch\u00a0or modify from a selected menu dish. I really wanted lobster in my mac & cheese so I started off with the Lobster Mac “n Cheese<\/strong> and got busy, adding Jalape\u00f1o Bacon, a fried egg, roasted garlic, sundries tomatoes, fresh basil and topped it all off with Parmesan bread crumbs. It was so lip-(s) Macing good!<\/p>\n

Make one for yourself or share it with a friend as a side dish like I did. Either way you can’t lose.<\/p>\n

There is a large selection of cocktails, wine and beers-even adult milk shakes. We could’t pass them on.<\/p>\n

The Pretty in Pink<\/strong> (Tequila, lemonade, cranberry, agave and lime juice) and a Cadillac Margarita<\/strong> (Karma Tequila, agave nectar, lime juice, and a float of Grand Marnier) really hit the spot.<\/p>\n

Wendy loves salad. She was in a happy salad-land because Stacked has a lot of healthy options as well. You can stack your own salad<\/strong> like we did above with, candied pecans, dried cranberries, strawberries, hard boiled eggs, spring lettuce mix, feta cheese, avocado, mushrooms, cucumber,\u00a0sun dried\u00a0tomatoes, red onions, and pepperoncinis. Pick your own\u00a0dressings as well.<\/p>\n

How about a side of wings? I loved these grilled medium spicy chicken wings called Wing IT<\/strong>!. They have a hint of sweet chili glaze and are served with carrots and ranch dressing. Crispy outside but all so tender inside!<\/p>\n

We’ve all had\u00a0Parmesan Fries but try these made\u00a0with sweet potatoes<\/strong> and chipotle mayo on the side for dipping, delicious! By the way this is the small size.<\/p>\n

Did you know that there are 16,128,000 different gluten free burger combinations at STACKED?! Fortunately I’m not gluten sensitive, but that gives you an idea of the huge amount of options you could use to create your own personalized burger\u00a0made to your\u00a0unique wants and needs.<\/p>\n

On this night I started with the Pastrami Burger<\/strong> and customized what I wanted into it. Starting with a Brioche bun and a third pound Angus beef patties. Then I added, both jack and Swiss cheese, pickles, onion strings, green leaf lettuce and a spicy brown mustard to go with the pastrami. A unique and very tasty burger.<\/p>\n

Of course we couldn’t visit\u00a0without trying the infamous Candied Bacon<\/strong> below on the right. Some people come and order 10 orders of these. Well a bit exaggeration, but you get the idea. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Candied Bacon<\/strong> is a thick cut cherrywood smoked bacon basted with map syrup and brown sugar that is all slowly baked until caramelized. Its a perfect blend of savory and sweet. We decided\u00a0to finish it all off with a premium ice cream milk shake. In this case we tried and loved the Mudslide<\/strong> that consists of espresso, Oreo, caramel, chocolate sauce, and whipped cream on top. Ahhh, felt like 8 years old again.<\/p>\n

Don’t be confused by the easy iPad ordering,\u00a0Stacked is a full-service restaurant. Servers are always around to help and offer suggestions. They also have an app that you can use to preorder or place a take out order.<\/p>\n
