October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This year, The outlet at Orange<\/strong> is partnering with Susan G. Komen\u00ae\u00a0<\/strong>to support the fight against breast cancer, engaging employees, retailers and shoppers in ‘Mission Pink\u00ae<\/strong>‘. It is to not only contribute to finding cure and bringing awareness to breast cancer but also celebrate the survivors’ stories and stories of their families.<\/p>\n

\"\"On October 13th, 2015, The Outlets At Orange<\/strong> and Yelp OC Elite<\/strong> community came together with Susan G. Komen Foundation<\/strong> for a night of fashion, prizes and delicious food.\u00a0\"\"Participants of the event were encouraged to share with everyone what gives them strength by donating $1 and writing their message of strength on a “brick” which is then used to create the wall of Strength. Many guests also took pictures to go with their messages and shared on social media. It was a great opportunity for survivors and their families to visually articulate their strength during their fight with breast cancer. To donate, visit the Guest Services<\/strong> (located next to Nike Factory Store and Jamba Juice).\"\"The Fall Fashion Runway Show was produced by Neiman Marcus Last Call<\/strong> and Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th<\/strong>.\u00a0\"\"\"\"\"\"Many of the restaurants and retailers also sponsored delicious food and donated prizes for the night.\u00a0\"\"Neiman Marcus Last Call –\u00a0Sugar Cookies.<\/p>\n

\n\"\"There were many prizes given to the guests including gift baskets and gift cards valued from $25 to $200. I was one of the lucky winners winning a $100 gift card. Yay!\u00a0\"\"For two Saturdays; October 17th and October 24th from 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM,\u00a0The Orange County Chapter of the Susan G. Komen Foundation will be at The Outlets at Orange to assist in fundraising efforts and drive awareness of the partnership.\u00a0<\/strong>Visitors to The Outlets at Orange will notice that the Guest Services booth will be outfitted in pink and staff will be honoring National Breast Cancer Awareness Month by donning pink accessories.\u00a0 Other planned activities include:<\/p>\n
