When you think of Stonefire Grill, the images that pop up in your head are probably Baby Back Ribs, Tri-Tip, BBQ Chicken and Garlic Mash Potato. \u00a0After all, who doesn’t love a good old fashion ‘Meat & Potato’ meal? \u00a0However, as more and more people look for alternative options, Stonefire Grill has\u00a0revamped its menu with many Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten-Free and Lean Meat dishes.<\/p>\n

I recently attended a media testing of the new menu items at the Irvine location. \u00a0Frank from Groff-Hinman and Allie and Elly from Stonefire Grill welcomed all the media in attendance. \u00a0I’ve been to this particular location several times. \u00a0In fact, Allen and I had our rehearsal lunch for our wedding.<\/p>\n

We are now a couple of weeks into summer. \u00a0When the weather gets a little hotter, most of us prefer lighter meals. Stonefire Grill’s new sandwiches and salads are perfect.<\/p>\n

\"Stonefire2014-4\" The Caprese<\/strong> (sandwich):\u00a0<\/strong>Smashed grape tomatoes, homemade pesto, fresh mozzarella, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, wild arugula, toasted ciabatta. \u00a0Salad or sandwich, The Caprese is a popular dish for many vegetarian and non-vegetarian a like.<\/p>\n

\"Stonefire2014-17\"Roasted Cauliflower Pita<\/strong> (sandwich): Roasted Cauliflower, Lemon Tahini, chopped tomato, green onion, spicy Cilantro-Serrano Sauce, Jerusalem pita. \u00a0Did you know cauliflower is the new kale?<\/p>\n

Turkey Sandwich has always been a popular choice for sandwich lovers. \u00a0Here at Stonefire Grill, there are 3 different ones to choose from. \u00a0Or better yet, try them all. \u00a0\"jpg25\"<\/p>\n

Turkey Salad\u00a0<\/strong>(Sandwich):<\/strong>\u00a0Chopped celery, green onion, dried cranberry, red leaf lettuce, whole grain bread. \u00a0\"jpg44\"<\/p>\n

Traditional Turkey <\/strong>(sandwich):<\/strong> Red leaf lettuce, cranberry sauce or cranberry whole grain mustard, mayo, whole grain bread.<\/p>\n

Italian Turkey <\/strong>(sandwich):<\/strong> Shredded lettuce, mayo, tomato, red onion, mozzarella cheese, Dijon mustard vinaigrette, French roll.\u00a0\u00a0\"\"Shrimp<\/strong>: Fresh lemon, olive oil, garlic, chili flakes and chopped parsley served with quinoa. \u00a0This is superfood with super flavor. \u00a0\"\"Whole Roasted Cauliflower<\/strong> (side item): A FSG favorite. Topped with Lemon Tahini and chopped parsley. \u00a0Served warm. \u00a0This is a MUST-TRY even if you don’t think you’d like it. \u00a0I am telling you, it is DELICIOUS! \u00a0I can eat this whole roasted cauliflower all by myself! \u00a0\"\"<\/p>\n

Cauliflower Salad <\/strong>&\u00a0<\/strong>Keen Green<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>–\u00a0Quinoa, chopped spinach,\u00a0sun-dried\u00a0tomatoes, artichoke hearts, avocado,\u00a0Parmesan\u00a0cheese,\u00a0fresh pesto. \u00a0These salads are great sides to any meal. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
