Did you know that Crispa is the Latin word for crepe?\u00a0 I didn’t.\u00a0 And I also didn’t know crepes were made in savory flavors, not just sweet desserts.\u00a0 Located in Northpark Plaza in Irvine, Crispa Crepes offers a new class of fast casual dining of its own.\u00a0 Each dish is made fresh with the highest quality ingredients sourced locally whenever possible with authentic worldwide flavors. \u00a0\u00a0 <\/del><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Since my tasting about a month ago, Crispa Crepes has expanded its menu with new savory and sweet crepes, as well as adding tofu to the menu for those wanting different protein alternative.<\/p>\n

\"\"CEO, Hadrien Curs, a native of France, started Crispa Crepes in his own kitchen after not being able to find a restaurant that could make crepes as good as his.\u00a0 \"\"He personally trains all the personnel and oversees each crepe that comes off the griddle.\u00a0 \"\"All savory crepes are served with a small organic mixed greens salad dressed with a housemade balsamic vinaigrette. Doesn’t it just look so beautiful and delicious?\u00a0 <\/span>\"\"The selection of savory crepes include Greek Crepe filled with grilled<\/span> chicken breast strips, feta, fresh tomato, fresh spinach leaves, red onions, olive tapenade and thyme<\/span>.\u00a0 \"\"A French Crepe with ham, aged Swiss and thyme<\/span>. \"\"An Indian Crepe with grilled chicken breast strips, lentils, shredded carrots, mild sour cream curry sauce, red onions and fresh cilantro<\/span>. The menu is extremely affordable.\u00a0 And if you are a student living or attending in Irvine, you even get a free soda with the purchase of a savory crepe, or a free ice cream csoop with the purchase of a sweet crepe just by showing your student ID.\u00a0 Don’t forget to ask for a Crispa Crepes Loyalty Card, a frequent diner card with rewards, which can help students on a budget. <\/span><\/p>\n
