Massilia @ Yorba Linda"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>French restaurant in Yorba Linda?\u00a0 You betcha!\u00a0 Although it&#8217;s situated in an unassuming strip mall, the interior is very charming and warm.\u00a0 The black and red walls are decorated with lots of photos and paintings.\u00a0 You definitely get that artsy boutique kind of feel.\u00a0 In the far end of the room by the small bar, you&#8217;ll find a baby grand piano.\u00a0 On Fridays and Saturdays between 6:30pm &#8211; 9:30pm, you will be entertained by a live Jazz piano!\u00a0 There is also an outdoor patio.\u00a0 I imagine when the weather warms up, it&#8217;d be lovely to enjoy a meal outside by the fountain.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3074\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/wendyfulworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/BistrotMass_JPEG.jpg\" width=\"850\" height=\"699\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 850px) 100vw, 850px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It took a while for us to decide what to order.\u00a0 But our server was very patient.\u00a0 Once he explained the daily specials, he left us and then returned with water and a basket of french baguette slices.\u00a0 They were so lightly crunchy and fluffy.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve been trying so hard to cut down on my carb but I could not stop eating these!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3075\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/wendyfulworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/BistrotMass-2.jpg\" width=\"850\" height=\"601\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wendyfulworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/BistrotMass-2.jpg 850w, https:\/\/wendyfulworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/BistrotMass-2-300x212.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 850px) 100vw, 850px\" \/>Although one of the daily specials was also fish, I decided to go with Le Filet de Saumon Citronnee (Salmon Filet, Mash Potato, Carrot Puree, Ratatouille, Lemon Butter Sauce).\u00a0 I loved how light the lemon butter sauce was, but it gave so much flavor to the salmon.\u00a0 I don&#8217;t know how Chef Vincent did it, but that was the hottest piece of Salmon I&#8217;ve ever had and yet it was super moist and tender.\u00a0 You know cooking fish can be quite tricky, too much heat, the fish becomes dry and hard.\u00a0 I really would love to know how he did it!\u00a0 I also enjoyed the ratatouille and Carrot Puree.\u00a0 I wish they could have substituted the mash potato with a little green to add color to the presentation and because I like seeing something green on my plate.\u00a0 But that&#8217;s just a personal preference.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3077\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/wendyfulworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/BistrotMass-4.jpg\" width=\"551\" height=\"850\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wendyfulworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/BistrotMass-4.jpg 551w, https:\/\/wendyfulworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/BistrotMass-4-194x300.jpg 194w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 551px) 100vw, 551px\" \/>Allen had Le Faux-Filet (New York Steak (8 oz), Garlic, Parsley Butter, Garlic French Fries).\u00a0 Let me just tell you the it was brought over, it smelled wonderful!\u00a0 The garlic parsley butter was delicious on the meat.\u00a0 The meat was cooked perfectly but it was\u00a0 a little tough to chew.\u00a0 For $20, I didn&#8217;t expect it to be prime but I would have rather paid more to get better, if not prime, grade.\u00a0 It was a bit of a shame because the flavor was excellent.\u00a0 We did enjoy the french fries quite well.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3078\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/wendyfulworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/BistrotMass-5.jpg\" width=\"850\" height=\"601\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wendyfulworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/BistrotMass-5.jpg 850w, https:\/\/wendyfulworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/BistrotMass-5-300x212.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 850px) 100vw, 850px\" \/>We decided to skip dessert as we would be doing a bakery tasting a couple of days later.\u00a0 It was a Thursday night and the restaurant was not that busy.\u00a0 Allen and I enjoyed a really nice and quite dinner .\u00a0 Our server was great and handed us copies of their menus to take home.\u00a0 He also highly recommended the weekend brunch which we&#8217;d love to come back to try.\u00a0 I love to support little neighborhood restaurant and Bistrot
