Media Event"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I admit, I hesitated.\u00a0 With so many pizza restaurants popping up all over the south land, how different can this one be?\u00a0 Let me just say, I bowed down to owner and visionary, Paul Hibler, who opened my eyes and my palates to the art of pizza!\u00a0 Although Pitfire Artisan Pizza is a chain restaurant, each location is unique &#8211; P (reposado tequila\/jalepe\u00f1o honey\/pink grapefruit soda\/mint), The Neroni\u00a0(gin\/aperol\/antica vermouth\/blood orange juice\/mint), and The Duke (rye\/maraschino liqueur\/dried cherries\/coke).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2471\" title=\"Pitfire\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/wendyfulworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/Pitfire.jpg\" width=\"850\" height=\"700\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wendyfulworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/Pitfire.jpg 850w, https:\/\/wendyfulworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/Pitfire-300x247.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 850px) 100vw, 850px\" \/>While we chatted with old friends and meeting new ones, we sampled some tasty FLATBREAD &amp; Braised\/Tomato Sauce\/Grana\/Grilled Bread).\u00a0 If you think they look pretty, they tasted even prettier!\u00a0 The meatballs were so tender and full of flavor.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2474\" title=\"Pitfire0028\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/wendyfulworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/Pitfire0028.jpg\" width=\"850\" height=\"601\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wendyfulworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/Pitfire0028.jpg 850w, https:\/\/wendyfulworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/Pitfire0028-300x212.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 850px) 100vw, 850px\" \/>The first tray of Pizza was what made me realize Pitfire Pizza was no ordinary pizza restaurant.\u00a0 All of the pizza are around $10.\u00a0 I love the thin crust with a slightly thicker outer crust.\u00a0 The doughs are made in house daily and rest for 2 days before baking .\u00a0 Toppings are sourced either locally or from Santa Monica Farmers Market.<\/p>\n<p>THE BURRATA PIE (Tomato Sauce\/Caramelized Onion\/Burrata Cheese\/Wild Arugula\/Hazelnut\/Pesto Drizzle) was light, fresh, and creamy, unlike most people that leave your hand and stomach heavy and greasy.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2475\" title=\"Pitfire0034\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/wendyfulworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/Pitfire0034.jpg\" width=\"850\" height=\"601\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wendyfulworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/Pitfire0034.jpg 850w, https:\/\/wendyfulworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/Pitfire0034-300x212.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 850px) 100vw, 850px\" \/>THE SAUSAGE PARTY (Huntington Sweet Fennel Sausage\/Tomato Sauce Fontina\/Mozzarella\/Red Onion\/Oregano) is like a party in every bite!\u00a0 Definitely a meat lover&#8217;s favorite.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2476\" title=\"Pitfire0044\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/wendyfulworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/Pitfire0044.jpg\" width=\"850\" height=\"601\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wendyfulworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/Pitfire0044.jpg 850w, https:\/\/wendyfulworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/Pitfire0044-300x212.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 850px) 100vw, 850px\" \/>I think this was a &#8216;Be An Artist&#8217; pizza called TUSCAN PIE (Chicken\/Potato\/Red Onion).\u00a0 I thought it was quite interesting.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2477\" title=\"Pitfire0048\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/wendyfulworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/Pitfire0048.jpg\" width=\"850\" height=\"601\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wendyfulworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/Pitfire0048.jpg 850w, https:\/\/wendyfulworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/Pitfire0048-300x212.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 850px) 100vw, 850px\" \/>Never thought I would love the ROAST PUMPKIN PIZZA this much!\u00a0 It was a bit sweet and a bit savory.\u00a0 Almost like a &#8216;dessert&#8217; Olive Vinaigrette)!\u00a0 It&#8217;s a simple salad but very satisfying.\u00a0 I would even eat this as a meal for the days I just want something light.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2480\" title=\"Pitfire0057\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/wendyfulworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/Pitfire0057.jpg\" width=\"850\" height=\"601\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wendyfulworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/Pitfire0057.jpg 850w, https:\/\/wendyfulworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/Pitfire0057-300x212.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 850px) 100vw, 850px\" \/>By now, you probably are thinking &#8216;Are you kidding me?\u00a0 There is more?&#8217;\u00a0 Yes!\u00a0 This CHICKEN &amp;
